"The Chimney Experts, Inc. provided outstanding service to us recently. I first met and used their service on a referral when we wanted to have our chimney swept and firebox cleaned. They were in and out in about one hour and left the hearth cleaner than when they arrived. At the end of the service they reported that our chimney was in really good shape and no additional service was needed at this time. About one year later during a major rain and windstorm I heard water dripping and running down the face of the firebox. I contacted Greg Butler the President of The Chimney Experts, Inc. and they came out and inspected the flashing and raiser of our chimney. In his expert opinion what had happened was the high wind and driving rain had seeped thought a crack in the flashing. He sealed it with silicone rubber sealant and assures me we should be fine for the next monsoon event in the Santa Claita Valley. "Initially needed a comprehensive evaluation of my chimney and firebox....since the chimney is about 40 years old and some minor cracks were evident. The Chimney Experts utilized a camera and scope to analyze the situation. No problems were found and repair was not required. I was provided a disc that contained the results. Additionally I had a new screen installed as well as a damper to eliminate drafts during cold weather season during non use. The entire project was completed in less than a day........parts were ordered previously. Mr. Butler and his crew worked diligently until completion.....and returned the following week to check on any other issues that may have occurred. I would have no hesitation in contracting the The Chimney Experts for any further chimney issues. I plan on utilizing them again when I convert my wood burning firebox to an all gas/glass firebox."

My name is Greg Butler, owner of The Chimney Experts, Inc. I want to introduce you to my company and the services we provide. Personally, I have over 30 years of experience of working on and inspecting over 20,000 chimneys. I have rebuilt, swept, restored and performed literally every kind of repair imaginable on both fireplaces and chimneys.

I hold certifications in direct vent gas fireplaces, as well as, Fire Investigation Research and Education (F.I.R.E).

I have experience in troubleshooting problems with both wood burning and gas fireplaces. I seek to please my customers by giving them the best service possible, and since our work primarily comes to us by referral, knowledge, quality and service play a major role in how we handle all of our customers.
