The Chimney Experts provides chimney, fireplace, masonry, inspection, cleaning, repair, rebuilding, installation, outdoor kitchen, firepit, and related services.

The availability, scope, price, and terms of any specific service will be determined through direct communication, an inspection, an estimate, and, when applicable, a separate written agreement.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old to request services or enter into an agreement through this website.

When requesting service for a property, you represent that you are:

The property owner;

A tenant or occupant authorized to request the service;

A real estate professional authorized to act for a client;

A property manager or authorized representative; or

Otherwise legally authorized to request access to and work at the property.

3. Website Information Is General Information

Website content is not a substitute for an on-site inspection, professional diagnosis, written inspection report, engineering evaluation, building department determination, manufacturer’s instructions, or other professional assessment.

6. Estimates, Proposals, and Written Agreements

Website descriptions and general statements about services are not binding estimates or offers.

Prices, timelines, materials, work methods, warranties, payment schedules, cancellation terms, and the scope of work will be established in an estimate, proposal, inspection agreement, invoice, work authorization, service-and-repair contract, home-improvement contract, or other written agreement.

When a separate written agreement applies, that agreement will control over these website Terms of Service regarding the specific project.

Any additional work or change in the approved scope may require a written change order, revised estimate, additional authorization, or additional payment.

Customers should not rely on verbal promises or assumptions that are not included in the applicable written agreement.

7. Inspections and Inspection Reports

Chimney and fireplace inspections are limited to the conditions that are visible, accessible, and reasonably observable at the property at the time of the inspection.

Depending on the inspection level and the applicable written agreement, an inspection may not identify:

Concealed or inaccessible conditions;

Defects located behind walls, finishes, masonry, or other materials;

Conditions hidden by furniture, appliances, stored property, roofing, insulation, or construction;

Intermittent drafting or performance problems;

Conditions that develop after the inspection;

Problems outside the agreed inspection scope;

Code violations requiring specialized testing or governmental review; or

Defects that cannot be detected without destructive or invasive procedures.

An inspection report describes observed conditions as of the inspection date. It is not a guarantee that the chimney, fireplace, venting system, or related components will remain free from defects.

Inspection reports are prepared for the customer identified in the inspection agreement. Buyers, sellers, agents, insurers, lenders, contractors, or other third parties should not rely on a report unless that reliance has been expressly authorized in writing.

Inspection findings may lead to recommendations for cleaning, additional testing, repairs, rebuilding, specialized evaluation, or further investigation.

8. Customer and Property Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate and complete information regarding the property, requested service, known conditions, access restrictions, and safety concerns.

Before an appointment, the customer is responsible for:

Providing safe and reasonable access to the property;

Ensuring that an adult authorized to approve access and work is available when required;

Disclosing known hazards, damage, leaks, structural problems, gas issues, electrical issues, animals, pests, asbestos concerns, or other unsafe conditions;

Securing pets and keeping children away from work areas;

Moving furniture, decorations, valuables, or personal property when requested;

Providing access to fireplaces, chimneys, attics, crawlspaces, roofs, utility areas, and other relevant areas;

Obtaining necessary approvals from owners, tenants, associations, or other parties; and

Providing accurate contact, billing, and property information.

The Chimney Experts may refuse, postpone, suspend, or discon

tinue work when conditions are unsafe, access has not been provided, required authorizations are missing, or the requested work is outside the company’s capabilities or licensing.

Additional charges may apply when technicians encounter undisclosed conditions, inaccessible areas, unusual jobsite conditions, excessive preparation needs, or work outside the approved scope. Any additional work will be handled according to the applicable written agreement and California law.

9. Real Estate Inspection Requests

Real estate agents and other representatives who submit inspection requests represent that they are authorized to provide the property, buyer, seller, client, and transaction information included in the request.

The person submitting the request is responsible for ensuring that affected individuals have been informed that their information may be provided to The Chimney Experts for scheduling, inspection, reporting, and service-related communications.

Real estate deadlines, contingency periods, escrow dates, and closing dates do not guarantee appointment availability or report delivery by a particular time unless expressly confirmed in writing.

The Chimney Experts is not responsible for transaction delays caused by unavailable access, incomplete information, unsafe conditions, scheduling conflicts, weather, concealed defects, the need for additional evaluation, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

10. Payments

Charges for inspections, service calls, repairs, construction, materials, or other work will be described in the applicable estimate, invoice, work authorization, or contract.

You agree to pay all authorized charges according to the payment terms provided.

Payments may be processed through a third-party payment provider. The Chimney Experts does not control the availability, security, or policies of third-party payment platforms.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information. Returned payments, chargebacks, disputed transactions, late payments, or collection costs may be handled as permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

11. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should contact The Chimney Experts as soon as possible when an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled.

Cancellation, missed-appointment, access, dispatch, inspection, deposit, or rescheduling charges may apply when disclosed during scheduling or included in the applicable estimate, confirmation, or written agreement.

The Chimney Experts may cancel or reschedule an appointment because of weather, emergency calls, technician availability, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, property-access problems, illness, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

12. Phone, Email, and Text Communications

When you provide your phone number or email address, you authorize The Chimney Experts to contact you regarding your inquiry, appointment, inspection, estimate, report, invoice, service recommendation, customer-service matter, or approved work.

Communications may be sent by:

Telephone call;

Voicemail;

Email;

Text message; or

Other communication methods you authorize.

Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may request assistance by replying HELP or contacting The Chimney Experts directly.

Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent The Chimney Experts from sending communications reasonably necessary to complete an active transaction, respond to a request, administer an appointment, provide a report, address an account issue, or fulfill a legal obligation, when permitted by law.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

You authorize The Chimney Experts to use submitted materials as reasonably necessary to evaluate the request, schedule service, prepare estimates, perform inspections, document conditions, complete work, communicate recommendations, maintain business records, and comply with legal or insurance requirements.

Submitting a photograph or video does not replace an on-site inspection and does not guarantee that a condition can be accurately diagnosed remotely.

14. Acceptable Website Use

You agree not to:

Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes;

Submit false contact, property, billing, or service information;

Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or related systems;
